Working in concert and participating fully in the development and evolvement of the Lakelands Rural Health Network.
Developing and adhering to a governance structure for the network.
Active involvement in the needs assessment and strategic planning process that will provide the shared direction for the network partnership as well as identify potential opportunities for integration or collaboration around selected clinical, financial, technological, or administrative functions.
Active involvement in implementation of the project work plan and strategic plan.
Maintaining the necessary ongoing commitment to the shared goals in order to ensure the long-term success and viability of the network.
Seeking the input of other community entities where appropriate.
Respecting and supporting the autonomy and individual needs of each partner, while working together strategically to address the common needs of the network and the health care system as a whole.

Institutionalizes collaborative strategic planning to improve community health
Promotes integration across clinical, financial, technological, and administrative functions to enhance the regional health care system
Strengthens community capacity by better utilizing current assets and coordinating strategies to develop new ones
